Production notes

Vineyards: between 25-60 years old, with typical alluvial soils, very stony, red clay and silt. Hand harvest with selection of bunches in the vine. Spontaneous fermentation. The Garnacha ferments in stainless steel tanks while the Cariñena ferments in concrete tanks and French wooden foudres. Maceration during 10-12 days with minimally invasive extraction. Ageing 14 months, most part in wooden foudres and 225L French oak. Malolactic fermentation ends naturally in the spring.

Tasting notes

Medium-bodied and well-balanced, showing pure fruit expression supported by lively acidity. Fine, gently textured tannins frame flavors of red fruit, subtle balsamic notes and a touch of pepper and mineral salinity. The oak is well integrated, adding depth without overshadowing the fruit.
